Congregation B’nai Brith’s Children School, a diverse urban non-denominational egalitarian school in Somerville, MA, located in a beautiful 100 year old synagogue, is seeking a creative and confident Sunday school Hebrew/Judaica teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. We are looking for a teacher who is an enthusiastic, warm, intelligent critical thinker, excited to convey and interpret their love of Jewish living and learning with our kids. Candidates should delight in working with children, have prior successful teaching experiences, and feel confident running a classroom of intelligent, diverse, and curious students. We're seeking teachers who are excited to develop lessons and activities that engage students in Jewish life and explore modern Jewish identity. If you have Jewish camp or youth group experience, and/or enjoy participating in the arts, you are especially encouraged to apply.

All teachers report to the School Principal and our Rabbi/Education Director.
